In 1991 she enrolled at The University of Central England's School of Jewellery, in Birmingham's famous 'Jewellery Quarter', beginning four years of jewellery training, followed by 10 years working inthe jewellery industry. Three days later, she joined the University's Scuba Diving Club, eventually moving to the Leamington & Warwick BSAC, gaining the Advanced Diver qualification, and becoming an instructor.
At Purple Pepper you will find a beautiful selection of unique, handmade, beaded jewellery all carefully designed and created by me. I also teach jewellery making workshops which everyone absolutelyloves as they choose their own colours and designs from an extensive range of beautiful beads in all the colours of the rainbow. When making jewellery I use a variety of materials and techniques in my designs and source beads and findings from all over the world.
Hamlington's Fine Jewellery is a family run business bringing Birmingham's Jewellery Quarter to the heart of Warwick. Since George Hamlington founded the business in the 1940's it has passed through 3generations of the family to the current owner, David Hamlington.
