Emily Richard designs and makes jewellery in precious metals from her workshop in Rugby, Warwickshire. She trained at Birmingham's famous School of Jewellery before launching Emily Richard Jewelleryin 2008. Her work is influenced by geometric patterns and shapes, often using simple elements to make up more intricate, often three-dimensional patterns. Her two current collections, Torus and Phoenix, can be viewed online here.
In 1991 she enrolled at The University of Central England's School of Jewellery, in Birmingham's famous 'Jewellery Quarter', beginning four years of jewellery training, followed by 10 years working inthe jewellery industry. Three days later, she joined the University's Scuba Diving Club, eventually moving to the Leamington & Warwick BSAC, gaining the Advanced Diver qualification, and becoming an instructor.

Tarratt has been established for over 100 years at Market Street, the very heart of Leicester. In the 1950s and '60s, Ivan Tarratt worked with leading jewellery designers of the time to develop anin-house collection of jewellery - which continued to be designed and produced into the late 1970s and are still bought and sold at auctions today. Tarratt continue to make stylish bespoke jewellery in their workshop today.
