During this time I acquired extensive knowledge of diamonds and the diamond trade which included a period working in an Antwerp diamond cutting factory. In 1981, I was invited to become a Freeman ofthe prestigious Worshipful Company of Goldsmiths', and at the same time, became a Freeman of the City of London. The Goldsmiths' Company is one of the Great Twelve Livery Companies of the City of London. It has a history dating back to the eleventh century.

Annie gets much of the inspiration for her designs from the magical island of Bali where she is based for most of the year. Her influences are gathered from many aspects of Bali life from the localflora and fauna, the magical people and the colours and patterns found in the local markets and villages.
After a successful career in Finance in the City of London, Georgina Bywater became interested in the beauty of handcrafted jewellery design. When she left the City, she realised that this move gaveher the opportunity to transform her creative dreams into reality. Georgina's jewellery is designed along very simple, clean contemporary lines, contrasting the smoothness of silver against the markings of semi-precious stones to create timeless, fluid, classical pieces.
After graduating from the Royal College of Art with a Master's Degree in Goldsmithing and Silversmithing in 1993, Diana set up her studio in London in 1994 with the aid of a Crafts Council Grant,successfully designing and making jewellery and silversmithing for shows and galleries, nationally and internationally. Diana won the P&O Makower Silver Commission for the Crafts Council in 1995 and in 1996 was named best newcomer at Chelsea Crafts Fair.
James Fairhurst draws inspiration from the exquisite natural beauty of rare and unusual gemstones in order to create jewellery with a strong visual impact. His designs are simple and elegant, showingeach gemstone off to its maximum potential. Continuous free flowing lines are used to create a balance between the different elements of each piece.
The Secret Garden is a jewellery business in Basingstoke owned and run by Milena. Milena imports jewellery: silver and semi-precious stones from Italy and Mexico, and Baltic amber from Poland, as wellas designs her own range (Milly 925). The Secret Garden opened in 2001, but Milena's love for jewellery has its origin in the days when her family lived in Mexico, where she discovered the wonderful silversmiths of the city of Taxco.
Rosina finds beauty and colour in unusual functional industrial materials and components. She transforms the materials by taking them away from their functional context and adapts them (using her owninnovative techniques and processes) to create a new aesthetic function and purpose. She combines Sterling silver with anodised architectural aluminium and coloured butyrate plastics (derived from wood pulp and cotton) to create unique collections of contemporary jewellery. Born in Gloucestershire.
