About the Business

The Sweeps Festival is a colorful mix of music, dancing and entertainment with more than 60 Morris groups and entertainers celebrating throughout the three-day festival. The Sweeps Festival, 2nd - 4th May, lots of the children dress as chimney sweeps. The festival included the Jack-in-the-Green ceremony, a seven-foot character that the sweeps used to waken at dawn on Blue Bell Hill, Chatham.

The Jack-in-the-Green walks with the chimney sweeps in the parade. This year you can find simplyTrue Jewellery at The Festival of Steam and Transport at The Historic Dockyard at Chatham. You will find simplyTrue in the Farmers Market near HMS GANNET along with many other Farmers Market stall holders who produce their goods themselves.
