About the Business
Paul David Jewellery is based in the North West of England and has jewellery shops in Marple and Glossop. The managing director Paul started his Jewellery career at 16. He had a shed built in the back garden of the family home, where he began making and repairing jewellery. He also did antique fairs and soon built up a growing customer base. At the age of 18 Paul was also employed by a jewellery shop in Manchester as a working jeweller.
After the devastating Manchester Bomb of 1996 when the Corn Exchange where Paul worked was blown to pieces, Paul decided to open his first jewellery shop in Marple that year. Then Glossop followed in 2002. There is a workshop in both stores and Paul is always hands on in one of them makes sure he is available to chat to customers and guide them with their special purchase, remodel or bespoke jewellery design.
